No. They soften and heal the skin.
The best time to moisturize is after a hot salt bath. Your pores are open and circulation is improved. For extra moisturizing power, rub plain, unscented Epsom salts into your skin or use a dry brush to remove dead skin while you bathe or shower.
Do not rub the scented bath salts on your skin.
Apply one of our lotions after bathing, and voila! Super skin hydration.
Epsoms and Dead Sea Salts have a higher mineral content than other common salts (like table salt), and these minerals are good for you. They also have a different chemical make-up than table salt.
Did you know the best way to hydrate your skin, is by drinking plenty of water?
Drinking enough water also helps alleviate tension, headaches, aids digestion, and removes toxins..
Exfoliate!
Try dry brushing your skin with a gentle body brush when you shower or bathe. Or rub plain, unscented, Epsom salts on rough areas.
Exfoliating sloughs off dead skin, increases circulation and opens pores for better hydration when you apply lotion or oil.
